“A few of us visited the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu so we contacted Belmond and the experience was top notch from Ursula who assisted us with the booking to Carlos, our guidesand everyone we dealt with in Belmond. The property is beautiful, service was state tube and the food was tasty. The hotel has its own train stop so we got picked up right at the doorstep on our way to Machu Picchu onboard of the Vistadome. The property is right by the Urubamba river, has a spa, heated pool and even their own resident baby alpacas. Since it was winter, we even found hot water bags warming our beds upon returning from dinner. What a nice touch. We were so very lucky to have Carlos as our guide. He was efficient, friendly, knowledgeable and genuinely enjoy what he does.”
