Kapiolani Park lies in front of the family-friendly beach hotel and is recognised as one of Hawaii's finest recreational parks. Strolling out of the hotel away from the park, guests will come across the broad stretch of Kalakaua Avenue, the heartbeat of Waikiki. Kalakaua Avenue's main attractions are hundreds of shops. Honolulu Zoo is also only 1 minute away on foot and it is a 15-minute walk to the International Marketplace and 30 minutes on foot to the Diamond Head Crater. “Great experience here. Had a great view of Diamond Head. The only tiny inconvenience we had was that there was no coffee machine in the room. Luckily there was a Starbucks close by and even a coffee place on the lobby floor. We never went there though because if we are going to pay we prefer Starbucks.
The gym was open and the pool which was refreshing since most hotels have that stuff closed due to COVID or very limited.
We did not try the restaurant as we did not like the setting or the vibe. They also did room cleaning when needed unlike a lot of hotels that we’ve stayed at during our trip.
The staff was very friendly, attentive and helpful. Valet service was excellent and quick despite them being busy. Towels and beach chairs available as well as an ice machine.”

I would advise anyone staying here to keep in mind that this seems to be a very old building that has been refurbished/renovated so it will not compare 1 to 1 with brand new establishments.”
