“Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Hotel and rooms are clean. The lobby is surprisingly small and uncomfortable when waiting to meet up with other people. The rooms are a bit small, but have everything I need for business trips. Not much room for clothes if there are 2 occupants. All-in-all perfectly fine for short business trips.”

“The AC by Marriott New York Downtown is a decent hotel near Manhattan's Financial District. The rooms are modern and clean and offer a great view through big floor-to-ceiling windows. Very convenient for international travellers: There are USB ports, so you can charge your phone directly through these.However, there are some negative aspects as well: The air inside the room was very humid and the blanket was really strange. Instead of a full cover, the blanket just had to additional sheets that were not attached to each other (one below, one above). Consequently, I basically had a raw blanked after getting in and out of the bed a few times. Also, it is nice that there were complementary water bottles in the mini fridge, however, those were the smallest bottles I have ever seen.All in all, it is a decent, slightly overpriced hotel with a great location.”
