With just 17 rooms the three-story Emerald View Resort Villa has an intimate feel that's hard to find in Jamaica. Like staying on a private estate it sits in a handsome house perched on a hillside overlooking the ocean. The tile-floored accommodations have tropical furnishings and doors that open onto private terraces. Amenities include TVs with cable channels Wi-Fi connections and ceiling fans. There's a jewel-like swimming pool just outside your door and the beach is a 12-minute walk downhill. Jamaican fare is available in the restaurant which served breakfast lunch and dinner. Parking is free. Situated on Jamaica's northern reaches the Emerald View Resort Villa offers an away-from-it-all vibe. You're not isolated however as the duty-free shopping hub of Montego Bay is just 16 miles along the coast. About 17 miles away is the beautiful Dunn River Falls. Sangster International Airport is 13 miles west and Ian Fleming International Airport is 59 miles east of the property.

“Firstly outside the property is beautiful however the room were very poor. There was a lack of toiletries and when we did ask for it we got used tissues. There were also roaches in the room. Whenever we left the room we would come back and the ac was off. There was also no cable and the WiFi only worked in the living room downstairs. Despite that my family and I tried to make the best of the stay. BUT the host Jennifer was horrible. All she cared about was money and she tried to rip off my family for money. Charging for good when they weren’t even there for the meal. The service was extremely poor. I would never recommend anyone to go there. The only good thing about the place was the chef. He tried his best to please us despite them giving us reused plastic cups and forks to use. We had to go out and purchase our own”

“Emerald View Resort Villa is one of the best places you could stay if you're planning on being in Montego Bay. I stayed there 3 nights and enjoyed the engaging service, breathtaking hotel views, and breakfast. I'd recommend this hotel for anyone trying to get the full experience of Montego Bay Jamaica with very affordable hotel rates. Ms. Jennifer and her staff did an amazing job!”
