Clean, quiet, nice facility. Decent dinner options in bar and Shula restaurant. Breakfast is limited, lunch nonexistent. Hotel inaccurately described on Hilton website. Says there is room service (not--but there is carry out), implies full food service in restaurants. NO AIRPORT SHUTTLE! Website is inaccurate--you will need a taxi ($35-45 each way). Hilton clients beware--any important detail should be verified with hotel staff...but it may take a 15 minute hold and a couple of calls to reach the front desk.

Great place to relax, have a quiet night sleep and very good hotel assistance. Awesome atmosphere in the lobby Bar, and Props to Michelle the amazing bartender for the nights we were there that even prepared a special non alcoholic drink for me "Water on the Rocks" that was amazing.

CLEAN AND GREAT STAFF!!! This is a very cool hotel. The lobby area has a ton of space and is uniquely designed and decorated. The rooms are decent and clean. Lots of parking. Crystal at the front desk was great. Location is very good also - right near campus and less than 10 mins from the stadium and gymnastics/aquatics center. The price was surprisingly low compared to other hotels. Highly recommended.

Grande bife e uma batata cozida de todas as coisas no Shula's. Hotel é limpo e funcionários simpáticos e prestáveis. Great steak and a baked potato of all things at Shula's. Hotel is clean and staff helpful and friendly. The only things missing are a moderately priced restaurant that might also serve breakfast. Make sure to ask about toilet height in the bathrooms because ours was too low to the ground.

Estava tudo bem, até que não estava. Coloquei as 4 estrelas na chegada, mas tenho que tirá-las. BOAS coisas: a localização é boa, a entrada é boa. O estacionamento é gratuito e fácil. O serviço é bom, todo mundo era bom. Coisas não tão boas: houve muitos pequenos problemas. Quarto não era muito limpo. Há mofo no registro AC. Havia barulho constante de batidas do ventilador no banheiro, como se não parasse. Existem muitas manchas nas paredes como em todos os lugares. Não há cardápio disponível para comida. Você deve descer as escadas e escanear o código QR lá, não está claro por que não há opção de escanear na sala. A piscina parece suja e tem um cheiro estranho, havia muitas folhas na água. Depois a chave do meu quarto parou de funcionar, eu estava subindo e descendo várias vezes para atualizar as chaves, mas no final foi a bateria na porta para ser trocada, está tudo bem, mas depois voltei para o quarto e não havia água em absoluto. Liguei e me disseram que ninguém sabe quando a água vai voltar. Não é legal. Eu fiz as malas e saí mais cedo.

It was OK, until it wasn't. I put the 4 stars on arrival, but I have to take them out. GOOD things: Location is good, entrance is good. Parking is free and easy. Service is good, everyone was nice. Not so good things: There were a lot of small issues. Room was not very clean. There is mold on the AC register. There was constant flapping noise in bathroom from the fan, like non-stop. There are many stains on walls like everywhere. There are no menu availablefor food. You should go downstairs and scan QR code there, not clear why there is no option to scan it in the room. The pool looks dirty and smells funny, there was a lot of leaves in the water.Later my room key stop working, I was going up and down several times to update keys, but in the end it was batteries in the door to be changed, it is OK, but later I came back to the room and there was no water at all. I called and I was told that no one knows when the water will be back. Not cool. I packed and left earlier.

My fiancé and I stayed last night in room 612. We made (walk-in) reservations at the front desk, and the staff were very pleasant and accommodating. The rate was $129 plus tax (Around $144 US) for a King Bed room. The hotel is conveniently located near I-75 in the SW corner of Gainesville which worked out well for us. There are several restaurants nearby. I recommend “Metro”, for breakfast, about 3 minutes up the road. The room was clean, well-lit, and although somewhat dated, it was quite comfortable. My fiancé couldn’t initially find a comfortable spot on the firmer than average mattress, but eventually fell asleep. Caveats: There are no bathroom fans, so don’t eat carefully. The walls are single ply toilet-paper thin, so if the insomniac in the adjacent room wants to watch TV all night, you will hear it. We turned the “Fan” function on, in our room to cover the noise of his or her TV next door. There is a bar downstairs, literally called “No Name Bar”, which was comfortable, and well stocked. There is also a Shula’s Steakhouse which we did not visit, and can not speak to its quality or lack thereof. Overall, would very likely visit this hotel again, based on overall experience, and pray that The TV Aficionado has moved on. Worth a visit.

A cada passo do caminho, os funcionários aqui são ótimos, vindos da lavanderia, que foi super legal. Para a pessoa que pernoitava que era nova e estava sendo treinada pelo maravilhoso supervisor da recepção! E então o barman que cuidou muito de nós! En cada paso del camino, el personal aquí es excelente por parte de la persona de la lavandería, que fue súper amable. ¡Para la persona que pasa la noche que era nueva y está siendo entrenada por el maravilloso supervisor de la recepción! ¡Y luego el barman que nos cuidó muy bien! ¡Cuando regrese a aquí, este será nuestro hotel al que ir!

Every step of the way the staff here are great from the laundry person, who was super nice. To the overnight person who was new and being trained by the wonderful front desk supervisor! And then the bartender who took great care of us! When coming back to here this will for sure be our go to hotel!

Não. Não. Não reserve aqui. Este hotel não é limpo. Os lençóis e cobertores estavam rasgados e encardidos. Eles também cheiravam e sentiam como se alguém já tivesse dormido ali. Encomendei lençóis novos e ao colocá-los, eles pareciam e cheiravam muito mais limpos do que os lençóis anteriores. As aberturas também estavam cobertas de poeira. Não podíamos dormir confortavelmente. Eu estava coçando e vomitando a noite toda.Às 5:00 da manhã, mudei o quarto, o cavalheiro era muito educado e atencioso, no entanto, este quarto também não estava limpo. Havia um cheiro de esgoto vindo do quarto. O chuveiro, pia e espelhos não foram limpos. Então desci para falar com a gerente, mas ela não estava lá. A mulher na frente não tinha uma atitude agradável. Falei com a gerente de limpeza e ela insistiu que teria "um de seus melhores" para cuidar de mim. Esperei cerca de duas horas antes de voltar para o meu quarto para sentir o cheiro de alvejante que havia sido borrifado, mas ainda assim nenhuma limpeza foi feita. A piscina e a área da piscina não estão limpas. Toalhas sujas junto com copos e comida. Reservado por duas noites e precisava de um reembolso. Eu não recomendo este hotel nem vou voltar. Este hotel precisa de um resgate de hotel.

Tínhamos feito uma reserva pré-paga não reembolsável. Estávamos viajando de fora da cidade e só chegamos às 3 da manhã. Quando tentamos fazer o check-in, fomos informados de que não tínhamos feito o check-in antes da meia-noite, nosso quarto foi marcado como não comparecimento / cancelamento e porque eles estavam fazendo sua auditoria noturna, eles não poderiam nos dar um quarto. Eu não expliquei em nenhum lugar da reserva o estado de que tínhamos que fazer o check-in antes da meia-noite e o quarto era pré-pago. Ainda não foram oferecidas acomodações. Nós tivemos que ir encontrar outro hotel então às 3am (que obviamente custou mais devido à reserva de última hora). Mais tarde, descobri que os requisitos de proteção ao consumidor no estado da Flórida, um hotel, não podem privar um indivíduo de acomodações em um estabelecimento público de hospedagem após ter reservas pré-pagas. Eu não recomendaria ficar aqui.

Eu reservei um quarto para minha família ficar depois de ir a um jogo de Gator. Infelizmente, meu filho de 14 meses ficou muito doente na semana anterior ao jogo e eu também peguei uma gripe, então viajar estava fora de questão. Especialmente durante esses momentos com Covid. Eu entendo que a reserva não é reembolsável, mas eu estava pensando em apenas mover minha reserva para outro fim de semana, pois havia outros jogos nesta temporada que estaríamos presentes. Depois de explicar minha situação, o agente de reservas não teve compaixão, me colocou em uma espera por um longo tempo para encontrar um gerente e então basicamente me disse que não havia nada que ela pudesse fazer e que era "política". Estou no ramo de hospitalidade há muito tempo e sempre há maneiras de ajudar os clientes, principalmente aqueles que têm motivos médicos para mudança de planos. Eles nem pensaram em ajustar as datas e apenas se ofereceram para cancelar o meu quarto sem reembolso. Tão pouca compaixão por uma situação que não pude evitar. Estávamos muito ansiosos por um fim de semana fora torcendo pelos Gators, mas não estou arriscando a saúde do meu filho ou da minha, então agora estamos sem $ 350. O atendimento ao cliente tão ruim, este hotel está fora da nossa lista e provavelmente a marca Hilton em geral, o que é uma pena porque normalmente o serviço é fantástico.

We had booked a non-refundable, prepaid reservation.We were traveling from out of town and did not arrive until 3am. When we attempted to check in we were told because we had not checked in before midnight our room was marked as a no-show/cancellation and because they were doing their nightly audit they could not give us a room. I explained nowhere on the reservation did it state we had to check in before midnight and the room was prepaid.Still no accommodations were offered. We then had to go find another hotel at 3am (which of course cost more due to the last minute booking). I later discovered that the consumer protection requirements in Florida state a hotel cannot deprive an individual of accommodations at a public lodging establishment after having prepaid reservations.I would not recommend staying here.

I booked a room for my family to stay after going to a Gator game. Unfortunately, my 14 month old got very sick the week leading up to the game and then I also came down with the flu, so traveling was out of the question. Especially during these times with Covid. I understand the reservation was non-refundable but I was looking to just move my reservation to another weekend as there were other games this season we would be attending. After explaining my situation the reservation agent had no compassion, put me on a long hold to find a manager and then basically told me there was nothing she could do and it was "policy".I have been in the hospitality business a long time and there are always ways to help customers, especially ones that have medical reasons for changes in plans. They wouldn't even consider adjusting the dates and only offered to flat out cancel my room without a refund. Such little compassion for a situation that I couldn't avoid. We were very much looking forward to a weekend away cheering on the Gators but I am not risking the healthy of my toddler or mine, so we are now out $350. Such poor customer service, this hotel is off our list and mostly likely the Hilton brand in general, which is a shame because normally the service is fantastic.

Please No. No. Do Not Book here. This hotel is not clean At all. The sheets and blankets were torn and dingy. They also smelled and felt as if someone already slept there. I ordered new sheets and upon laying in them, they felt and smelled a lot cleaner than the previous sheets. The vents were also covered in dust. We could not sleep comfortably at all. I was itching and tossing all night. At 5:00am I changed the room the gentleman at the from was very polite and accommodating however, This room was not cleaned either. There was a sewage smell coming from the room. The shower, sink and mirrors hadn’t been cleaned. I then went downstairs to speak with the manager however, she was not there. The woman at the front didn’t have a pleasant attitude. I spoke with the housekeeping manager and she insisted she’d have “one of her best” come take care of me. I waited about two hours before retuning to my room to smell bleach had been sprayed yet still no cleaning was done. The pool and pool area isn’t clean. Dirty towels laying around along with glasses and food. Booked for two nights and needed a refund. I would not recommend this hotel nor will I return. This Hotel needs a Hotel Rescue.

Um lugar muito relaxante para passar a noite. Fizemos uma viagem de longa distância de vários dias da Flórida para Charleston, para Baltimore, para a Carolina do Norte e de volta para a Flórida. Não encontramos um hotel durante a nossa visita que desse quase o valor fornecido pela Aloft. Com certeza vou ficar de novo. A única coisa que o tornaria melhor seria a disponibilidade de um café da manhã leve.

Such a pretty relaxing place to spend the night. We took a multi-day, long distance trip from Florida, into Charleston, up to Baltimore, down to NC, and back to Florida. We did not find one hotel during our visit that gave nearly the value Aloft provided. Will definitely stay again. The only thing that would make it better would be availability of a light breakfast.
