The hotel itself was stunning. The decor was tasteful and elegant, and everything was immaculately clean and well-maintained. My room was spacious and beautifully appointed, with all the amenities I could possibly need. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I slept like a baby every night.

We have never been to a more relaxing resort. The island is simply like nothing we’ve ever experienced. The staff were amazing. The food was excellent. We stayed 3 nights in a villa on the sun rise side and 2 nights on the sunset side and both were beautiful but quite different. On the sunrise side we could hear the beautiful sound of the ocean in our Villa but the water was choppier. The sunset side was calmer and we got to watch the sunset. Although we did also enjoy sunset at the beach bar. The beds were very comfortable and the cleaning staff amazing. Highly recommend

Had much higher expectations We stayed at the Fairmont for 3 nights in an overwater sunset villa. Pros - The villa is absolutely stunning and we really enjoyed spending time here and in the surrounding waters. - Our jet ski excursion was the highlight of our stay. Thanks to Ibrahim and Iris for making this such an enjoyable experience. - Spa facilities were top notch. Masseuses were very friendly and accommodating. - Ajit, Enzo and Nafiz (baggage) were really helpful! Cons - Our butler, while really friendly and kind, was not always on it. He wasn’t very proactive and we had to constantly chase him for updates. We were also booked on a terrible seaplane transfer out, even after providing our flight details multiple times in advance (unsure if he could’ve done much here or it was down to management). - Food was really mediocre. My partner found the fish to be undercooked and I really struggled as a vegetarian. Chefs surprisingly were less than accommodating and we had to really push them to make a few options available at most meals. - All inclusive food package is very misleading. It’s actually a set menu with limited options. You also need to make reservations for restaurants well ahead of time. - The service was very much a miss. There’s a language barrier which affected a lot of our food and drinks orders. Misses included incorrect items being brought at almost every meal, and constantly being reminded that ordering outside of the set menu would be chargeable. Overall, we really wanted to like this place but came away disappointed in the service and food hospitality. We provided feedback to our butler and a couple of chefs during our stay but didn’t see any improvements which suggests communication and a lack of accountability being major problems.

Breakfast was my favorite meal…which is not a good sign because I love food. Ziyaan was absolutely awesome & funny…but way too busy. Despite being super busy, he was pretty available to help us and transport us wherever we needed to go. Housekeeping was great and rooms were very nice and spacious and extremely luxurious. Service in restaurants was very slow. That’s the most disappointing part of the trip because there are limited restaurants to use the “all inclusive” package. By limited - ultimately just one for breakfast & lunch. The slowness was even more frustrating because it’s never been more than half full at a time and plenty of “staff” around (dinner is the exception but you have to make reservations for that anyway). The food was also disappointing (it was okay, not great). I wanted to give this 5 stars but between the abhorrent service and mediocre food, I cannot. They also messed up our parasailing reservation multiple times and activities were pretty underwhelming. Thanks to Ziyaan (who went above and beyond) and the very friendly staff (like Vivek in the restaurants & Adams), I’ve settled on 3 stars. Again, staff was nice but things were beyond slow. Transfers to and from airport were seamless.

Wow! A place that is made out of a movie. Absolutely stunning. Service is unreal and people so kind! Right from the airport in Male, you are greeted by a member of the Fairmont. They grab your luggage and escort you to a private vehicle to head over to the float planes. The flight is so beautiful. Once landed, you are greeted by staff and sent to your villa. We had the Sunrise villa over the water. Wow!!!! The villa wasn't a hotel room, it was your private villa with plenty of space. The deck was huge with a private infinity pool and plenty of lounging space. The food on-site was so good. It was all local food and inspired locally. The fish was caught every morning. Highly recommend the buffet. Thanks to all the staff. We had an exceptional time in paradise.

Even though we had to take an hour long sea plane flight from Male after a long flight and a transet flight... it was well worth it. The service, immaculate. The food, exquisite. The rooms, luxurious, spacious and clean. The hotel was kind enough to arrange a personal celebration for us, with cake and room decorations. With friendly staff and amazing hotel, you get an unforgettable experience.

O banco disse que não houve tentativas de baixa. Foi proposto fazer novamente a reserva, mas em condições completamente diferentes. Felizmente, Valeria, um representante de hotel muito gentil na Rússia, entrou em contato comigo e me ajudou a remarcar a villa diretamente no hotel sem fazer reservas. O que eu fiz. As aventuras não acabaram aí - logo no dia da partida tive um caso de força maior e a viagem foi cancelada. Apesar disso, o hotel nos recebeu no meio do caminho, adiando a reserva para outras datas sem penalidades significativas. Eu ainda nem estive no hotel em si, mas este hotel merece os maiores elogios apenas por essa atitude para com seus hóspedes, como sua representante Valeria. Espero que as férias planejadas sejam um sucesso e eu possa escrever sobre minhas impressões.

Pese a ello, el hotel nos recibió a mitad de camino, posponiendo la reserva para otras fechas sin penalizaciones importantes. Ni siquiera he estado en el hotel en sí todavía, pero este hotel merece los más altos elogios solo por tal actitud hacia sus huéspedes, como su representante Valeria. Espero que las vacaciones planificadas sean un éxito y poder escribir sobre mis impresiones.

Luxury! The whole atmosphere of the island is very high class. The rooms are beautiful and service perfect. The food was the best we have tried. The infinity pool is a must as it is the highlight of the place. The island doesn't have snorkeling but has a lagoon to swim. I recommend for anyone who wants to feel spoiled. I dont have a lot of words to describe this magical place except its an Extraordinary place.The only thing I didnt like here was the flight to this amazing place. I know its not the Resort's fault but just people keep in mind that its a noisy plane, get yourself a headset with an active sound cancellation system.

Low quality service. Especially arrival experience, really 1 star not more - no resort car, no resort lounge, just a bus with the airport workers. Don’t go. Important note: website pictures look better than reality. On a positive note, the food is good and the house reef is lively.

Best vacation! The best hotel we have ever vacationed in! The breakfast was always perfect! Very tasty, varied and highest quality! Just like the lunch & dinner! Luxury quality, we love the food there! The staff are super nice, we have never met such nice employees, the team is very harmonious and the atmosphere among each other is very nice. We felt very at home! Our room was a dream, we had the Jungle villa, very clean and so much space & very private. The activities were perfect, a lot is offered: snorkeling, diving, painting, tennis, spa, gym, painting, cycling, photo shoot and many water activities. For us the most beautiful vacation ever! Maldives always at Fairmont, will come again :)

Without a doubt the most incredible resort you will stay at without paying the equivalent of a house deposit.There is not a single thing missing from Fairmont.The staff are amazing, the chefs they have preparing meals are first class. In the rare event that one of the 15-20 main dishes on offer at dinner doesn't suit your tastes, simply ask and they'll make whatever you want.They have their own dry aging cabinets for cured meats, a dozen different cheeses, desserts and sides.Breakfast is simply stunning.
