“Stayed at SO/ St Petersburg for 8 nights during a family visit in St Petersburg in July 2021. Really enjoyed staying here, the overall experience was super exciting and the hotel has globally over passed my expectations. The food was great, staff was really kind and helpful, they have been upside down to make our stay enjoyable. What touches us the most is the over-personalization of our stay. The staff always called us by our name and they were even aware it was my birthday and sent us some nice attentions to the room. I was also glad to become an All Diamond member during the stay in SO/ St Petersburg which they noticed and took the time to send us some chocolate to celebrate. I also want to mention the professionalism of Mrs Irina at the reservation desk who made all our booking super smooth, we stayed approx. 60 days this year in hotels across the world in not less then 20+ different hotels and I have to say SO/ St Petersburg had from far away the smoothest booking experience. Keep up the good job! And see you in March 2022 for our next stay in SO/ St Petersburg”

“I celebrated my 20th birthday at Urban Wellness spa yesterday, and had planned to spend the whole day receiving premium quality treatment. It all started by a very friendly and professional administrator Larisa greeting me, and I'm still particularly thankfull to her, because she'd been the only person making me joyful that day. The area itself is of an amazing design, but all of that beauty was spoiled by unprofessionalism and rudeness of administrator Tatiana. Firstly, she claimed that one of the programs of my choice (Modeling treatment Odemacel) was no longer available, which didn't prove to be true due to massagist Julia. I was quite dissapointed, but that wasn't the end of it. The second treatment I intended to get, namely, Soul and unity aromasoul, which I thought inferred the involvement of aroma oils, according to Tatiana didn't have anything in common with the actual essential oils, but only went under a "commercial name of Aroma soul". That time I was actually upset, considering that the main goal of my visit was that precise treatment. Replacing that, Tatiana offered another 2-hour treatment, which wasn't even in the menu, therefore being a novelty of the spa, which I didn't hear anything about. Without hesitation I agreed, trusting the recommendation, in spite of the fact that I intended to spend the day in a whole different way. Having gotten the treatment, I was astonished to hear from Julia that actually Aromasoul included the best aroma oil treatment, which I dreamt to get on my birthday, but, being misled by Tatiana, didn't end up getting. That really did dissapoint me, because I'm a perfume chemist and that's my greatest passion. Moreover, I was surprised with the fact that such a prestigious institution employs such irresponsible and rude staff like Tatiana. And that is absolutely safe to say, because when I came up to her, wondering what all of that meant and whom to believe, she straightway started accusing me of not getting the message and almost threating with a phrase "all of that is on camera recordings", implying that she could prove I'm wrong. To my mind, such behaviour is incompatible with the reputation of Sofitel and also throws shade on it. Also, If the staff would be interested, you could check the phone conversation held on 06.11.2020 at 18.37, during which Tatiana was particularly rude. The last thing to repell me was a cockroach (!), climbing up the table where I ate my dinner. (I've got a photo as a proof). I left immediatly after that. The senior administrator didn't even bring her apologies concerning that terrible violation and contuned to persuade me I was the one to get everything wrong. I'm convinced that is unacceptable due to all possible standards of service quality. Overall, I think the staff should consider a compensation for a ruined birthday.”
