“DON’T STAY AT THIS HOTEL! Shower does not work, there’s no lift. I had a terrible experience at this Hotel. I haven't been able to take a shower during the two nights I stayed there. The shower drain was clogged and water leaks all over the bathroom floor. It's unbelievable that a hotel with such a high daily rate offers such poor accommodations. Unfortunately, they managed to make my experience in Portugal a disaster”

One star is a little harsh but I only wish I knew I’d have to listen to thumping club music until 3 am before I booked the room. I already knew my room was on the fourth floor with no elevator. I knew the shower and bathroom was very small. I can handle that. Bed was comfortable, Room was clean and the staff is friendly and accommodating but none of that matters when you can’t fall asleep because of the nightclub next door and then you wake up sweating because the power had been out. If you need to get a hold of the staff at night, be prepared to call a few times before they answer or you can message them but you may have to wait 30 minutes to an hour to get someone to respond to you.”

DON’T STAY AT THIS HOTEL! Shower does not work, there’s no lift. I had a terrible experience at this Hotel. I haven't been able to take a shower during the two nights I stayed there. I had some trouble finding the exact location, because even when they notify you before hand that the checking is done in another building, it has a sign with a different name on it. Other than that, the staff was really friendly and helpful, they carry the luggage for me and gave a short explanation of the area, they also suggested places to visit and eat. The rooms and accomodations are in a vintage style, giving you the whole Lisbon experience. The whole building is extremely clean and neat. And I can't end this comment without saying how comfortable the beds are!!

I arrived early and havent even seen my room yet. But I can say this: From the moment I entered, I was charmed by the staff and the atmosphere. The upper floor with the breakfast room (live piano!) is nothing short of breathtaking. You can go straight into the kitchen, and the chef will cater to you AND entertain you. It is, without any exaggeration, the most beautiful hotel I have ever seen on the planet, and I have seen hundreds. Thanks to the wonderful person who guided me here! OMG. Pianist is playing Stairway to Heaven as I write this. Pure magic. Will never search for anything else in Lisbon, I found the pinnacle.
