“*** Management, read fully for notes--The Peninsula is a very beautiful hotel. The room was beautifully appointed with more technology than anyone could really want. Showing how even the most luxurious hotels can make mistakes, I asked the front desk for an iron and ironing board (they said it would take 10 -15 minutes) and it ultimately took about an hour. But this was nice: a woman stopped by to give me dog bowls for my dog…don’t have one. She was very sorry and came back in about 15 minutes with a very nice bowl of fruit—unexpected, and appreciated. But even though it took an hour for the iron from housekeeping, the woman that mistakenly delivered dog bowls came back in about 5 min with an iron and board before the actual housekeeping deliver. Also, the Lobby was a very nice restaurant and the Z-Bar will make you feel like you belong…even though you might be filling the mold for only a weekend. *** Note: Room 1203 had a running toilet and the shower's hand-held shower-head is broken. Minus those inconveniences, and If I had unlimited funds, I would stay a few nights per year. Great experience.”

I had stayed here many times. First after a long weekend for Labor Day. Then for some birthdays, special occasions, and New Years. But a few weeks ago got married here. It was AMAZING. Our friends and family raved at how amazing the service, food, hotel, and just overall experience was. This is one of the nicest hotels in the WORLD. In fact it was my boss who has traveled the world that told me this was one of the best he has ever been to. So on that faithful day many ears ago I brought my then girlfriend there for a long weekend (to try and impress her of course). Who knew that 4 years later we would be getting married there. I highly recommend this hotel if you are coming to Chicago or if you want to celebrate your big day. Jennifer from the Peninsula will make sure it's an amazing and unforgettable day.

We attended the afternoon tea. As a vegan it’s very exciting to see a spot that offers something like this and I’m more than willing to pay a high dollar amount, if it’s worth it. This tea however was not. The 3 star rating is only because Francisco provided very professional and fluid service. The food it’s self was horrendous. I went hungry, as one usually would and that’s really the only reason I ate the savories. I’m thinking maybe the chef isn’t vegan? Or they’re just simply not sampling what they’re making. It was really sub-par and I would caution to stay away. There were also quite a few flying friends at the table, which isn’t great for such a nice spot. While I like autonomy in choose my own tea, everywhere else I’ve done a tea has 3 pairings for your 3 courses. Really chef, the cauliflower purée that was apparently supposed to accompany the scones just isn’t the move. Over very disappointing, 10/10 would not recommend.

Outstanding Hotel in every aspect. Location perfect, staff highly trained, customer focused always, spectacular rooms with every amenity. The tech in the rooms is perfect and flawless..Pricey but worth it. I am well traveled and this is a world class property. Kudos to you Peninsula Chicago.

Realmente o que você procura quando quer ser chique e burguês. Quero dizer mimado! Confortável! Ótima piscina. Muitas maneiras de desfrutar ao ar livre no bar ou na piscina. O spa é INCRÍVEL. A equipe foi super agradável e não estranho. Isso foi bom demais - muito melhor que 4 Seasons e muito, muito melhor que intercontinental - é como Motel 6.Há uma TV acima da banheira em um banheiro gigantesco com um quarto para chuveiro, outro para vaso sanitário e depois o resto é área de banho. Eles oferecem ótimos artigos de toalete e você literalmente precisa pedir gelo. Vestiário com chinelos confortáveis. Apenas Uau. Estou muito feliz por ter experimentado.

Este hotel sempre faz tudo perfeitamente. Eu tive uma estadia maravilhosa no fim de semana, mas infelizmente deixei meus óculos no quarto. Um telefonema e Claudia E. tratou de tudo com perfeição e à maneira da Península. Meus óculos chegaram em casa hoje em plástico bolha, uma linda bolsa Peninsula e uma mala postal da FedEx. Claro que eles acertam isso (meu erro) também! Fique neste hotel; você não vai se arrepender. A equipe, hotel, localização, etc. são todos maravilhosos. Obrigado, Península, por um fim de semana maravilhoso.

What an incredible hotel. From the minute we pulled up to valet to check in, service was top notch. Such a beautiful, super clean, modern hotel—everything was exquisite! Location was perfect, close to everything. The pool was the best ever and our 7 yo boy's favorite thing about our trip to Chicago.I called in advance to let them know our son has a severe dog allergy and was asked his name and age. I thought they said they would do something nice for him (I read reviews that some kids got cookies, gummie bears, or other cute kid stuff waiting for them in the room), there wasn't anything which was a bummer. But a really nice room service person did come by with a robe & slippers. Definitely a 5-star experience and we will absolutely be back!

Really what you're looking for when you want to be fancy and bourgeois. I mean pampered! Comfortable! Great pool. A lot of ways to enjoy outside at bar or at pool. The spa is AMAZING. The staff was super nice and not awkward. This was blow your socks off nice - Like way better than 4 Seasons and way, way better than intercontinental - that's like Motel 6. There is a TV above the tub in a gigantic bathroom with one room for shower, one for toilet and then the rest is bath area. They give you great toiletries and you literally have to call for ice. Dressing room with comfy slippers. Just wow. I am so very glad I got to experience it.

This hotel always does everything perfectly. I had a wonderful stay over the weekend but unfortunately left my glasses in the room. One phone call and Claudia E. handled everything perfectly and in the Peninsula way. My glasses arrived home today in bubble wrap, a cute Peninsula bag, and a bubbled FedEx mailer. Of course they get this (my mistake) right, too! Stay at this hotel; you will not regret it. The staff, hotel, location, etc. are all wonderful. Thanks, Peninsula, for a wonderful weekend.

Z bar was a highlight, especially the service of their bartender Adam. Probably the best hotel service we’ve experienced since 2019.

By far the BEST 5⭐️ DIAMOND HOTEL we have ever stayed with!!!! From the valet, to the door guys, the bell hops, the diamond guys, the front desk, the house keeping and the lobby service, they were all very exceptional!!!!! Everyone carries themselves very professional to a T!! We love how everyone smiles and greets you with just the highest of respects. Not only do they treat their guests like this, they also treat walkers and bystanders the same way!!The Peninsula does offer free valet with free breakfast for 2!! They also have these diamond guys all in white that will run errands for you and walk your doggies if you’re busy!! I believe they are the only hotel in Chicago that offers this. Not only that, they have a hotel car that will take you from the hotel up to a 2 mile radius stop if needed. When staying with them, we did take advantage of the valet, breakfast and hotel car. It did really make our stay much more lovely.Their location here in Chicago is the perfect spot!! 20 steps from the magnificent mile and 6 blocks from our favorite Louis Vuttion!!! Walking anywhere for us was super smooth and easy. We walked a couple of times from the River Walk and had absolutely no issues with directions. Service was an absolute must for us, but with location comes PERFECTION, and they had outdid themselves once again!!!When staying with them, we did The Lobby (breakfast) Z Bar and in room dining. The only few things we didn’t get to try was the Spa, the pool, Shanghai Terrance and the Ice rank. Those are what will be next on our stay with them.This is just my review on the wonderful customer service and location, wait till you see what they offer in their beautiful rooms!!!A very very BIGG THANK YOU to The Peninsula for welcoming us again with the upmost care, loyalty and love!! Thank you to Joy the front desk staff for being so caring and wonderful to my honey and I while checking in, and THANK YOU to the rest of the STAFF for making our stay so EFFING BEAUTIFUL!!! 5 Star Hotel!! For us The Peninsula is the only place to stay when visiting Chicago. They offer concierge service, valet parking, a house car, bell hops, in room dining. Anything you need is a phone call away. The service is impeccable! The rooms are cozy and elegant. The beds are very comfortable, they have multiple tablets that control the room lighting the heat and ac, you can order food and amenities from them, check the weather, call for valet or make up the room right from the tablet. They also have blackout curtains and a big screen tv with a fax machine and printer. A mini bar and coffee machine as well. The have a dressing room connected to the bathroom. The bathroom has a nice walk in shower and a whirlpool tub. A very cozy and relaxing room with beautiful views of Michigan Ave. The lobby is a beautiful room to have breakfast, lunch or dinner. There service is also top notch! Everyone we encountered there from the staff at the Peninsula was very friendly and attentive and go the extra mile to make your stay convenient and comfortable. We will not stay anywhere else! The Peninsula is Chicago!!

Best hotel I’ve ever had the pleasure of staying at! It was an enjoyable & amazing experience shared with a very special sister! What better way to have a slumber party! Shanghai Terrace, Z Bar and the Spa left nothing to be desired! We had beautiful views of Michigan Ave looking at the original water tower where the fire 🔥 happened, Water Tower Place shopping & the John Hancock! I will definitely make it a priority to visit again!

My wife and I are frequent visitors to Chicago and we have stayed at most, if not all, of the major hotels in the city. I can honestly tell you that our stay, at the Peninsula hotel, was the best experience we have had, to date. The rooms are luxurious, the staff humble, professional and always looking for ways to make your stay more enjoyable. It was an additional treat, to be able to do my workout in the pool, on the 20th floor, with an amazing view of the city! This is truly a top shelf hotel, staffed with great people. We give it our highest recommendation.

Eu me apaixonei pelo meu quarto. Era tão aconchegante e bem projetado. Achei a posição de cada móvel perfeita para o uso. Pensadas escolhas decorativas me faziam sorrir cada vez que meu olhar pousava nelas. Tudo sobre este quarto era perfeito. I fell in love with my room. It was so cozy and well designed. I found the position of each piece of furniture be perfect for the use. Thoughtful decorative choices made me smile each time my gaze landed on them. Everything about this room was perfect. I'm happy that I got to stay here and enjoy the luxuries if The Peninsula Chicago. P.S. Wish I could go ice skating at their rink, something to look forward to.

*** Administração, leia todas as notas - O Peninsula é um hotel muito bonito. A sala foi lindamente decorada com mais tecnologia do que qualquer um poderia realmente desejar. Mostrando como até os hotéis mais luxuosos podem cometer erros, pedi na recepção um ferro e tábua de passar (eles disseram que levaria de 10 a 15 minutos) e no final das contas demorou cerca de uma hora. Mas isso foi legal: uma mulher passou por aqui para me dar tigelas de cachorro para o meu cachorro ... não tem. Ela ficou muito triste e voltou em cerca de 15 minutos com uma tigela de frutas muito boa - inesperada e apreciada. Mas mesmo que demorasse uma hora para o ferro de passar das tarefas domésticas, a mulher que entregou por engano as tigelas para cachorro voltou em cerca de 5 minutos com o ferro e a tábua antes da entrega da limpeza propriamente dita. Além disso, o Lobby era um restaurante muito agradável e o Z-Bar vai fazer você se sentir como se pertencesse ... mesmo que você possa estar preenchendo o molde por apenas um fim de semana. *** Observação: o quarto 1203 tinha um vaso sanitário funcionando e o chuveiro de mão do chuveiro está quebrado. Sem esses inconvenientes, e se eu tivesse fundos ilimitados, ficaria algumas noites por ano. Ótima experiência.

Spectacular service from every single staff we met in the hotel. From the door man to the manager who checked us out. The great experience was beyond the other Peninsula that I visited before. Always felt welcomed and relaxed during our stay for three nights. We definitely would come back again and recommend to our friends and family who are visiting Chicago.(Don’t forget to order the amazingly delicious “Pen-nidict” from the breakfast lounge.)

I was simply delivering a Postmates item to a guest at the hotel I entered the ground floor was not greeted by the two employees that were sitting there watching some type of sport game on the TV so I made my way up to the lobby level where I was once again not greeted At All by the desk staff there I had a feet and within three minutes two security guards rushed up to me treating me like I was some type of bum trying to hang out in their Lobby for no reason although I clearly had my cell phone be customers name and room number and their bag that they ordered in my hand if you're not going to instruct someone on what to do where to wait do not accost them like they are trespassing! Any future thought I had of patronizing this hotel flew out of the window with the way I was treated is it because I'm black?

Absolutely wonderful hotel. The service was amazing and the rooms were huge, with very modern technology. It is located on magnificent mile. The staff was always very polite and will do anything to make your stay better. There were iPads in the room which controlled the lights, and a bunch of other stuff that was a really nice touch. I wished the Mens spa was open, and the Valet parking wasn't so expensive, but otherwise great hotel. I will definitely be staying at more Peninsula's.

Hotel room and common areas were amazing. Shanghai terrace is great and the staff at the hotel is very friendly. The pool / spa left something to be desired as the pool was too chilly, and the hot tub was out of order. Additionally a great process improvement would be to have a rigorous check / sweep of the pool and deck post family swim time to clean up floating items from the pool (bandaids, hair, unsupervised children etc).

We loved this hotel so much. We had a three day getaway there. The staff was pleasant, the room was clean and comfortable and up-to-date, the common areas were also beautiful and clean. There were little things that made it special, such as a welcome basket and nice turn-down service, and a strings duo in the lobby restaurant. We really enjoyed the hotel.

If I could give it more stars, I would! My wife, daughter, and I stayed for Thanksgiving week, and it exceeded our expectations! From making hotel reservations with Jose, to making Thanksgiving dinner reservations with Sonia, to checking in with Joy, to being greeted with smiles by the housekeeping staff, to the wait staff going the extra mile with Leo and Annie, ALL OF YOU were AMAZING! I really wanted an ELEGANT and SOPHISTICATED hotel for my wife and daughter in the heart of the Magnificent Mile. The trio (or quartet) playing during our Thanksgiving dinner was the CHERRY ON TOP! The decor was SPECTACULAR! The transformation from the Thanksgiving decor to Christmas overnight was MAGICAL! After our wonderful experience at the Peninsula Hotel, WHY would we want to stay anywhere else?

O chá da tarde estava um pouco abaixo da média. Muito decepcionante considerando que todas as opções de refeições na Península são realmente requintadas. A decoração precisa de uma grande elevação. Parece uma configuração de sala de conferência corporativa; estéril e pouco convidativo. A equipe de garçons foi sua graça salvadora. Quatro sanduíches muito pequenos e médios diferentes por pessoa, um mini quiche (degustação horrível) e um prato de doces que era praticamente APENAS com sabor de framboesa foi altamente decepcionante por $ 85. O garçom ganhou esta experiência do chá da tarde com uma segunda estrela, caso contrário, esta teria sido uma avaliação de uma estrela com base nas ofertas e ambiente.

The afternoon tea was a little below average. So very disappointing considering all the dining options at the Peninsula are really exquisite. The decor needs a massive uplift. Looks like a corporate conference room setting; sterile and uninviting. The wait staff was their saving grace. Four different very small and average sandwiches per person, one mini quiche (awful tasting) and a sweets plate which was practically ONLY raspberry flavored was highly disappointing for $85. Waitstaff earned this afternoon tea experience a second star, otherwise this would have been a one-star review based on offerings and ambience.

Absolutely amazing service. I went to the spa and had massage and a manicure by Nella, amazing service, great with covid conditions. Everything was extremely clean and sanitized I feel very relaxed, comfortable and safe.

The room was beautiful. It was very clean, smelled good, the beds were comfortable and had lots of pillows to push around and sleep on and it was very comfortable! There were shutters that opened all the way and the window opened too, all the way. Most hotels don't let the windows open that far. The bathroom was awesome and the shower had a massage head instead of one of those cheap shower heads. The housekeepers made the room beautiful every day without exception. The wifi worked and was fast, all the hotel information is on a tablet, the mini fridge was cold and all was good. they have a business center, a decent gym and a laundry that doesn't rob you of every dollar you have to get clean clothes.

Service is impeccable. As expected of Peninsula brand no matter where you stay, from the time you check in till check out. We were choosing which 5 star hotel to stay in Chicago, but I eventually convinced my mom to stay again in the brand we all know and trust. It is my 3rd Peninsula hotel, stayed twice in Asia, 1st in the US. I booked a Grand Deluxe Double bed room for 3 guests, overlooking the Michigan Avenue (aka Magnificent Mile). They really know how to spoil their guests. Stayed here with family like a mini-staycation before going back to NYC. Splurging in this 5 star hotel was much worth it, better than the Hilton 3-star hotel we previously stayed. It was nice of them to allow us for an early check-in, as we just checked out from the other hotel. We had an excellent breakfast on our last day in The Lobby. A "Delightfully Peninsula" stay indeed. I would rate this property 6/5 stars if I can here.

Na chegada, a orquestra ao vivo cumprimentou nossos ouvidos com lindas melodias. A comida foi perfeitamente preparado ea equipe de esperar foi rápido. Acima de tudo, a equipe do hotel foi amigável. O hotel foi mantido em supremo estado com belas flores frescas abundância. O spa foi tranqüilo e relaxante 😌. Upon arrival the live orchestra greeted our ears with beautiful melodies.The food was perfectly cooked and the wait staff was prompt.Above all the hotel staff was friendly.The hotel was kept in supreme condition with beautiful fresh flowers galore.The spa was peaceful and relaxing 😌.We truly loved every bit of our experience and are excited for our next visit.

Location and it was very clean The front staff did not honor our early check in request Also they gave us a handicap accessible room which we did not request or need !! We would if preferred a tub instead of shower only ! At a 5 star resort and the price we paid should do better

The room was nice as I expected with a 5 star hotel. I didnt give it an "excellent" rating simply because our view outside the window was tools, etc for the maintenance crew. So we left the curtains shut. The location was nice as well. The staff was not welcoming and the experience they provided to my husband and I was not was I was expecting for a 5 star hotel. If felt like we were an inconvenience and the food at the hotel was terrible and the service was slow and unfriendly.
